Weekly Weigh In Week 3

 So I weighed in a couple days late this week, it has been a stress filled week to say the least. What is different about that it is always stressful here, if it was possible there was actually more stressful than usual. Friday last week my parents had to put our dog Dakota down that we have had for almost 10 years, she was very sick and we put it off as long as humanely possible but the time came. I have not been that sad in so long, my kids took it hard too and I think that almost hurt more, it was the only pet they have lost to a death.
 Last Saturday I threw my back out. I actually felt something POP out of alignment in my back. So I had to take it easy for the week and just started feeling better Thursday. A very old and dear friend of the family who is like an Uncle to me was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer this week and is being sent home from the hospital after almost 2 weeks tomorrow with a prognosis of only 4-6 months. I want to crawl in a hole and not come out until the world as I know it is right again.
   But alas I know that will never be, so on I must trudge. So now that you know about all of my extra stresses this week, let us get on to the nitty gritty of the actual weightloss for the week. I have still been soda free now going on 3 weeks, I am actually quite impressed with my will power as far as this is concerned especially when I usually turn to a big ole Coca Cola when I feel stressed. I also switched to 1% milk from 2% this past week.
    I am actually looking into trying Zumba out but looking for a local friend to go with, or I may get a wii since ours died last year we do not currently have one, I noticed they have Zumba for the Wii. No matter what this is the week to throw some exercise of some sort into the mix, one way or another I am going to beat this weightloss roller coasted for good.
   I also applied for a blogger program for a weightloss challenge so please pray I am accepted I really think it would be so good for me. I hope to hear something soon and then I will share with you.

      So I know you are dying to know how I did this week? Right? I was worried to be honest when I went to weigh in today, since I have not been tracking my points as closely as I should have been. Much to my surprise I was down another 1.2 lbs making my total weightloss so far -5.8lbs. I was a tad bummed since I was hoping to be able to 2 more marbles to my jar of pounds lost, but there is always next week. I did however get my bookmark at my meeting with my first 5 pounds lost sticker. I also received a Bravo sticker for sharing about giving up soda.

 I am hoping for at least a -1.2 loss next week so I can add 2 marbles to my jar next week. ONLY 106.2 pounds to go to meet my ultimate goal.
