Weekly Weigh In Week 1......

   So after a stressful week, I still made it to weigh in yesterday and to my surprise I was DOWN 3.3 pounds. This showed me that slowing down on the coca cola does make a difference. I did not give it up completely but cut it down by 75%. I am interested to see if I cut it another 25% what it will do I am going to try to eliminate one serving from the week befores soda totals each week. So for instance this week I am having one 8 oz can every day to every other day. So I am keeping track of how many I have and then each week I will decrease by 1.

 I do not like the taste of traditional diet coke so I have found some alternatives that taste pretty good. I received a sample of A&W root beer 10 that is only 10 calories a can and it was very tasty. I also got a 7-Up 10 can but I have not tried it yet. I am not a huge 7-up fan so we will see. I have also tried Pepsi Next but it is 100 calories for a 20oz bottle. So I still think that is too much. So If I need a soda I am going to try to have healthier soda alernatives available for my craving. My goal is to eventually give up all soda. I know I have a long road to go but I am down from 112 pounds to 109. My short term goal is 25 lbs so now I am down to less than 22. I will be back next week with another update.
