It is just about school time for us here in our home so it is time to get back to my weekly homeschool hops and one of my favorites is this one.

In my life this week…

We were busy finishing up the garage and starting to get organized for the school year. Let me tell you it is driving my nuts to not be ready yet but it could not be helped... So this year it will come down to being ready the day before we officially start school for the year.

In our homeschool this week…Organizing....

Helpful homeschooling tips or advice to share…Don't sweat the small stuff, the kids are learning more than you can ever imagine and no matter what you think you are doing a Great Job.

I am inspired by…my friend Sue

Places we’re going and people we’re seeing…this week we are starting our school year back to school activities. Wednesday starts Royal Rangers, Thursday is Kick off meeting for our Co-op, Enrich. Friday Dave and I start back to our church bowling league, which means we really need to get out and get new bowling balls, shoes and a bag as ours were lost in the fire.

My favorite thing this week was…spending the last week of Summer Vacation with my kids.

What’s working/not working for us…Right now the chaos is not working for us, what is working is having all of these wonderful curriculum add ons from The TOS Crew to review and have fun with. I will be posting my first review tonight or in the morning so be on the lookout.

Questions/thoughts I have…I often wonder why I let Society dictate why I did not start homeschooling earlier in my kids life. How different would everything be.

Things I’m working on…My classes for the Upcoming Session of Enrich I am teaching 2 a Highschool sewing class and a Early Elementary Creative Calendars class.

I’m reading…Courageous

I’m cooking…We are starting once a week cooking next week so we willl have all of our meals ready for the week for at least dinner.

I’m grateful for…The freedom to homeschool

I’m praying for…friends and family who are having health issues right now.

What a FUN blog! (The music is what *I* would choose! LOL) Love the banner! Did you create it? Such a cool idea to have it change with photos!

All the best for your first week back!
